Yesterday afternoon members received information on a suspect who allegedly was in possession of an unlicensed firearm. Members were activated and the suspect was traced to a plot in near Randvaal rd. Access to the property was granted. The suspect claimed that the only firearm on the property was a 38 special registered to his mother. Further investigations lead members to find there were 2 unlicensed found on the premises. One 9mm CZ and one 38 SP with filed off serial numbers. Ammunition was was also found on scene. Suspect was detained at Klipriver SAPS for further investigations.
