Assistance was called in by SAPS 22:10 regarding a hijacked truck on the way to Swartruggens. Vehicle was found abandoned on the p124-1 (Swartruggens Lyndleyspoort) half of the load was already missing and no driver was found. Police searching for the driver. Owner phoned and reported the driver was indeed in Rustenburg. Driver was assisted by a white MP200 who took him to Rustenburg. Possible involved vehicles, MP200 and another truck. Truck was impounded to Swartruggens SAPS for further investigation and prints.
