A NCA NW Response member reported smoke and flames at Kgaswane Nature Reserve. They drove there to investigate when they where told at the gate, that the reserve needed assistance. He was told that they had been fighting the fire since 07H30 that morning and that they needed help with the fire and things to eat and drink. A message asking for assistance was send to NCA NW Reaksie as well as on CPF groups. . People where told at the gate where they would be needed and the donations where taking in by the people helping. A lot of donations where received from the community and the groups in Rustenburg. They where finished with the fire at 18H00.. But later the evening the fire broke out at the recreational centre in Protea Park, a lot of damages where caused.
