A truck stood next to the road for a week. NCA Response member stopped and saw the driver of the truck.
The driver informed him that the truck was hijacked at Pretoria, and the driver was tied up with cable ties.
The hijackers drove the truck until the diesel was finished and left the truck by the side of the road. They stole the trailer that was loaded with scrap copper.
SAPS was despatched to the scene.
