On the 14th January 2023 whilst doing crime prevention duties in Daleside.
On Karee Road by House wives, Daleside, we noticed a male walking with a black bag.
When approached the male ran.
A short chase ensued and the suspect was caught and detained for our safety and his.
He was advised of his rights.
When asked why he ran. He said that he did not want to be arrested and that he had dagga with him.
After obtaining permission to search his bag we found a total of 116.1 grams of Dagga split into
2 x large ziploc bags and
12 x small ziploc bags
And
1 x small ziploc bag containing crystal meth.
The notice of rights and weighing certificate was completed and signed in the presence of the suspect.
The suspect was detained at Kliprivier SAPS.
