NCA SUCCESS REPORT
FS RESPONSE TEAM
01 April 2026
A NCA responder was contacted regarding suspicious activity at a residence where garden services were busy cleaning the yard. It was reported that a white SUV with a Northwest registration plate arrived at the property. Two well-dressed male occupants exited the vehicle, approached the premises, and gained access by convincing the domestic worker that they needed to inspect the electrical box. Once inside, the suspects switched off the electricity to the house. They then proceeded to the flat let on the property, where they forced open a security gate and stole a PlayStation 5 along with other items.
The stolen items were identified by the tenant residing in the flat let. The South African Police Service (SAPS) was contacted shortly after the responder arrived on scene. The tenant will conduct a further inspection to determine if additional items were stolen. The responder cleared the scene and will circulate a message to alert residents to be on the lookout for the suspicious vehicle.
NCA extends its sincere appreciation to all role players for their prompt response, effective coordination, and professional cooperation, which contributed to the successful handling of this incident.
