NCA members received a call for assistance in Danville, Pretoria West. Upon arrival, members found the homeowner in a distressed state after reportedly being robbed and threatened on two separate occasions by the same suspect, who is known to him. As per IER protocol, SAPS was dispatched under reference number 4153309. Due to poor visibility caused by darkness and the absence of street lighting, it was difficult to determine the exact point of entry; however, it is believed the suspect entered the premises from a far corner. NCA members requested additional support from Forensic Security, who assisted in locating and handcuffing the suspect. Upon arrival, SAPS unit PW26 from Pretoria West applied the necessary force to detain the suspect and transported him in a SAPS vehicle. The case docket was completed on scene. NCA members further advised the complainant to apply for a protection order against the suspect and any associated individuals. All services subsequently cleared the scene.
