NCA SUCCESS REPORT
GP RESPONSE TEAM
Date: 22 April 2026

NCA members received a call for assistance regarding a missing person. Members were dispatched to a premises in Danville, Pretoria West, based on the information received. Upon arrival, members identified a vehicle matching the description circulated in the missing person flyer, namely a black Ford Fiesta. The registration number corresponded with the details provided. Further investigation led to the location of an individual on the premises. Members addressed the individual using the name provided in the report, to which the female responded and confirmed her identity as the missing person. The South African Police Service (Pretoria North) was contacted, and all relevant details were verified and confirmed. On the following day, a member of the SAPS Detective Unit, Pretoria North, made contact with an NCA member to attend the same address where the missing person had been located. Upon arrival, the SAPS detective was already on scene. The necessary documentation was completed to formally confirm the individual’s identity and assess her state of mind. It was further confirmed that the BOLO (Be on the Lookout) alert issued for the identified vehicle would be withdrawn. Following the completion of all required procedures, both NCA members and SAPS personnel cleared the scene, and the matter was officially concluded.
