Zibar Security Services, with the support of the NCA, successfully intervened in an abalone poaching operation following a client tip-off.
The client reported suspicious activity involving three individuals trespassing on his property. Upon arrival, Zibar personnel discovered seven divers moving across the land. While no arrests were made at the scene, approximately 15–20 kg of abalone was recovered.
The recovered abalone was handed over to SAPS, who will continue with further investigations.
