A responder received a call regarding an accident in town. Upon arrival, it was established that a car and a light truck were involved. The car swerved to avoid a pothole on the dual road and moved into the path of the light truck. The light truck swerved to avoid a collision, and the car only scraped it, after which the light truck went over the sidewalk.
SAPS was contacted. No injuries were reported, and an ambulance was not required. Since no one was hurt, both vehicles proceeded to SAPS to report the incident. Responders stood down from the scene.
