A distress call was received regarding a possible case of animal abuse in Kwaggasrand. Upon arrival, a NCA response member discovered a Pitbull dog tied to a very short chain at the fence. The member immediately notified the Underdogs Organization for Animals. On November 6, 2024, the NCA response member accompanied Underdogs representatives to the property, where a written warning was issued to the owner.
Later, the owner contacted the Nca response member again for assistance at the same address in Kwaggasrand. SAPS officers accompanied the team. After addressing and resolving any ambiguity, it was agreed that the Underdogs representative would return the following day at 17:00 to provide the necessary training to the owners. The NCA response member then withdrew.
