Response Member was moving East on State Artillery Road in Danville when a female suddenly fell into the road and there the member realized an armed robbery was taking place.
The lady clearly had blood on her head. The member turned around and chased the suspect. At a later stage responder was in pursuit on foot.
Suspect was apprehended and the phone was handed over to the Response member who handed it over to the complainant. Complainant is removed from the scene for urgent medical attention. Community has responded ladies member rushed to the rescue. SAPS was notified and Crime Prevention team arrived.
Scene and Suspect handed over to SAPS. Suspect was removed from the scene. 11:08 Responder withdrew from the scene.
