NCA SUCCESS REPORT
GP RESPONSE TEAM

NCA Response members received an urgent call for assistance at a property in Roux Street, Danville, regarding a security guard in distress. Responders arrived on scene and found a seriously injured male, approximately 24 years of age experiencing severe pain. According to the complainant, the victim was assaulted by two males who had broken into the house he was guarding. PW12 arrived on scene. Medical services were arranged by the security company, and the Emergency Support Team also attended. The patient sustained the following injuries: Suspected broken left arm head injury with possible concussion, open wound on the right elbow, pen wound on the right hip, possible fractured knee. One suspect was identified and arrested on scene, while the second suspect fled the area. The security company was advised to transport the patient privately to Kalafong Hospital as a Priority 2 (P2) patient. All services cleared the scene.
