While on duty at around 17:10, doing routine patrols in Duncanville Vereeniging I came across a male and female having a dispute about something. While observing them the male started assaulting the female, people of the community start shouting at him. While rushing to my vehicle the suspect ran away and I couldn’t locate him. The victim were bleeding from the the mouth, emergency services were contacted and the victim were taken to Kopanong hospital for medical treatment, SAPS were also contacted and the victim were informed to open a case and she confirmed that she did do a J88. (Case number pending)
