Incident Summary: Accident Between Taxi and Truck
On Friday, 20 June 2025 at approximately 11:35, the NCA Gauteng Response Team came across a collision involving a taxi and a truck on the N17 East, near Carnival City.
Scene Overview:

NCA First Responder arrived on site and immediately called for the necessary emergency services.

Several injured patients were stabilized at the scene.

Some patients were trapped and were safely extricated using the Jaws of Life rescue equipment.

The road was temporarily closed to facilitate rescue operations.

After stabilization and extrication, patients were transported to the nearest hospital.

Once the scene was cleared, the road was reopened to traffic.
