On 28 July 2025, a report was received regarding an accident outside Bothaville involving an overturned tractor and trailers. Upon arrival, traffic authorities were already managing the scene, and no injuries were initially reported.
Traffic control measures were promptly implemented. During efforts to upright the second trailer, it unexpectedly shifted and fell, injuring a worker employed by the tractor owner by landing on his leg.
An ambulance was immediately called, and reinforcements were requested to assist due to heavy traffic and the need to close one section of the road to safely free the injured worker from beneath the trailer.
Ambulance and towing services arrived promptly. The injured worker was transported to the nearest hospital by ambulance. Following the clearing of the scene, the road was reopened, and all personnel withdrew safely.
