Reaction members received an urgent call for assistance following an explosion at an electricity mini substation in Creusot Street, Danville.
Upon arrival, members found the mini substation covered in smoke and immediately blocked off the three adjacent streets. Due to the explosion, the entire area was left without power.
According to Namola, the Fire Brigade was dispatched.
Timeline:

18:22 – City of Tshwane (CoT) Fire Department arrived on scene, along with the CoT Electricity Department.

18:32 – Reaction members and all emergency services cleared the scene.
