GP RESPONSE TEAM

On November 1, 2025, the GP Response Team received a call for assistance at the Pretoria West Hospital Substation in Danville due to a reported power outage in the area. Upon arrival, our team found that the City of Tshwane was already on the scene conducting an inspection, as they had received information about a potential suspect inside the building.
During our assessment, we discovered a male individual inside the premises. We immediately contacted the South African Police Service (SAPS) for support.
At 17:19, the Pretoria West Crime Prevention Team arrived at the scene. The suspect was apprehended and subsequently transported to the local police station. A case of damage to infrastructure was officially opened in relation to the incident.
City of Tshwane personnel replaced the broken lock and initiated a report for the switching team to inspect the damage.
The GP Response Team departed the scene at 18:36.
