Received a call for assistance at the intersection of WF Nkomo and Transoranje in Pretoria West, where the roads were obstructed.
Response members arrived promptly at the scene. The entire intersection was blocked by vehicles, large chunks of cement, and a significant tyre fire in the middle of the crossing.
Residents of Ward 16 expressed their frustration over a lack of electricity for the past four days. All relevant parties were present, and the situation was being addressed.
At 20:47, protesters cleared the road, allowing SAPS to begin removing the debris.
By 20:50, the response teams stood down from the scene.
