The NCA MP Response team received a request for backup near Charlestown due to an ongoing looting incident.
Although the situation was tense and stone-throwing continued, the team was able to bring the situation under control. The responding truck was involved in an accident, hitting a horse, which caused significant damage to the front and rendered it inoperable. Looting began shortly thereafter.
A recovery vehicle arrived at the scene, assisted with the damaged truck, and subsequently departed. All personnel then withdrew from the area.
NCA would like to express gratitude to all participants for their efforts during this incident.
