NCA SUCCESS REPORT
FS RESPONSE TEAM
05 MAY 2026

Responders received a request for assistance from the South African Police Service (SAPS) in Bothaville. The sergeant on duty requested support from NCA Responders regarding two male individuals employed on a farm along the Lichtenburg road. According to information received, the two men had been robbed in the Lichtenburg area. Their cell phones, clothing, and other personal and work-related belongings were taken. As a result, they were unable to reach their destination in time, and the farm owner had already secured the premises. Responders made multiple calls in an effort to assist the victims. Contact was eventually established with an individual who confirmed that he was en route. Although the men experienced delays, he undertook to personally collect them from the Bothaville Police Station and transport them back to the farm. Responders subsequently stood down at the Bothaville Police Station.

NCA extends its sincere appreciation to all role players for their swift response, effective coordination, and professional cooperation, which contributed to the effective handling of this incident.
