GP RESPONSE TEAM

On January 16, 2025, the GP Response Team received an emergency call regarding a woman who had been assaulted earlier on Wrentmore Street in Danville.
At 20:06, a reaction member arrived on the scene. A prompt decision was made to call in a Chaplain for support. The woman had sustained significant injuries, which were visibly apparent on the exposed areas of her body.
She was escorted to the SAPS Pretoria West station. Upon arrival, the woman expressed that she did not wish to have the assailant arrested, leading SAPS to decide not to open an assault case.
By 21:00, all parties had departed from the police station.
