NCA SUCCESS REPORT
FS RESPONSE TEAM

At approximately 16:40, the NCA FS Response Team received an emergency call from a resident on Stewart Street, Kroonstad, reporting that her house was on fire.
The incident was immediately relayed to the fire brigade. NCA members, Neighbourhood Watch volunteers, and additional community responders were mobilised to support firefighting efforts. Firefighters arrived shortly thereafter and commenced active response.
Traffic and Emergency Services also responded promptly to assist with the situation.
The first house was completely engulfed in flames within minutes. The second adjacent house sustained severe damage. Bystanders assisted in the urgent evacuation of the second home, and most furniture was successfully saved.
Unfortunately, two dogs and one parrot perished in the fire. No human lives were lost, and no serious injuries were reported.
At 20:21, all response units, including NCA personnel, officially withdrew from the scene.
