NCA SUCCESS REPORT
GP RESPONSE TEAM

At approximately 18:39, an NCA Reaction Member responded to an urgent call for assistance involving a minor in Brand Street, Danville. Upon arrival, the responder found a 10-year-old boy with nowhere to go.
It was established that the child’s parents had travelled out of the province to attend a funeral. He was supposed to stay with a family member, but no one was home. The child was unable to provide an address or contact numbers for any relatives.
Namola was contacted under reference number 666709, and SAPS were dispatched.
At 19:40, following a private call, the Reaction Member made direct contact with the Station Commander for urgent intervention.
At 20:26, PW47 arrived on scene, and the minor was safely transported to SAPS Pretoria West for further care.
At 20:30, the Reaction Member cleared the scene.
OUTCOME:
Minor safely handed over to SAPS. Scene cleared. Responder stood down.
