Reaction members received a call from Unchain Our Children requesting urgent assistance in Booysens, Pretoria West, where a young woman was reported to be in need of immediate help. Reaction members arrived on scene together with social workers and family members. SAPS Hercules (unit HR45) arrived on scene, and all services entered the premises together. A suspect was detained by reaction members while a young woman, who had sustained serious injuries, was found hiding inside the main house. Other children on the premises were removed by social workers. The suspect and complainant were transported to SAPS Hercules for further investigation and processing. Reaction members departed from the police station.
