At approximately 13:05, a community member approached Reaction team members requesting assistance for an unconscious woman at Jackson Street, Duncanville.
On arrival, team members found a 47-year-old woman who was breathing but unresponsive to touch and verbal prompts.
Several empty pill cartridges were discovered next to the patient, indicating possible overdose.
At 13:17, Gauteng Emergency Ambulance A0262-T arrived on scene.
The patient was transported by ambulance to Kalafong Hospital at 14:02.
Reaction team members left the scene at 14:05 after ensuring the patient was in care.
