NCA was contacted by a constable from Devon Police Station regarding a 13-year-old boy at the station who needed assistance in locating his parents.
The boy was unable to recall his address, only that it was near a certain business in Hluhluwe. Responders from the area engaged with various stakeholders, and it was soon established that the boy’s grandmother resided in Hluhluwe while his mother was working in Johannesburg.
Efforts were made to obtain the necessary contact details, and later that night, success was achieved when the boy’s mother contacted the constable at Devon Police Station. The boy was safely reunited with his mother.
