A message was received through a community group regarding suspects attempting a break-in on Millen Street.
Upon arrival, the NCA Responder met with the resident, who reported that he had woken up and seen two suspects in his sitting room. The suspects noticed him and jumped over the wall, fleeing towards Van Riebeeck Street. The resident described one suspect as wearing a grey shirt and dark blue denim.
Further investigation revealed that the burglar proofing had been broken and was found lying on the grass. The resident confirmed that nothing had been stolen and requested assistance from SAPS.
Additional responders joined the search for the suspects, but they were not located. All responders subsequently left the scene.
NCA extends its gratitude to all individuals involved for their cooperation and support.
