NCA SUCCESS REPORT
FS RESPONSE TEAM
21 January 2026
Responders reacted to an incident at Senwes following reports of an attempted burglary. The suspects were observed on CCTV footage; however, they had already fled the scene by the time Responders arrived. No access was gained, and no property was damaged or stolen during this initial attempt. Subsequently, Responders received a second call-out involving the same group of suspects, this time at the Bothaville Golf Club. The suspects were again observed on CCTV footage. Unlike the earlier attempt at Senwes, the suspects succeeded in gaining entry at the Golf Club. A large window was smashed, a cash safe (till) was forcibly opened, and cash was stolen. According to available information, it also appears that liquor bottles may have been taken. While Responders were attending to the incident at the Golf Club, Lampro Responders—who provide monitoring services for Senwes—made contact and requested assistance. Lampro confirmed that the suspects had once again been detected on CCTV at the Senwes premises. Responders immediately reacted; however, the suspects narrowly evaded capture, running approximately 50 meters ahead of the Responders’ vehicles before entering the location. Responders pursued the suspects as far as possible, but the suspects disappeared between structures and informal dwellings, where they were ultimately lost. As far as could be established, the suspects did not succeed in stealing any items during the second incident at Senwes. The only confirmed successful burglary occurred at the Golf Club.
NCA extends its sincere appreciation to all role players for their prompt response and cooperation.
