An attempted burglary was reported on Huilboom Road, Bultfontein. The husband of the property owner was unharmed, though understandably frightened. The fence of the property was found to have been cut. It is suspected that the perpetrators may be using the plot as either a hiding place or a passage to another nearby property. No valuable items were found on the plot.
The response team withdrew from the scene at 06:10 and conducted a patrol up and down the street. No further suspicious activity was observed.
