Reaction members responded to a call for assistance in Albertyn Street, Danville. Upon arrival, they found a male suspect lying on the ground behind an electricity mini substation. Community members had apprehended one suspect, while a second suspect managed to flee the scene. The apprehended suspect admitted to the reaction member that he had assisted the other individual in attempting to steal copper wiring from the mini substation. The reaction member confiscated all tools found on the scene and in the suspect’s possession for booking into SAP13. No community members were willing to open a case or be further involved in the matter. PW34 and PW47 arrived on scene, and the suspect was detained and transported to SAPS Pretoria West.

1 × shifting spanner
Response members proceeded to SAPS Pretoria West to complete the necessary bookings and then returned to service.
