NCA SUCCESS REPORT
FS RESPONSE TEAM
07 JUNE 2026
NCA Responders were activated and dispatched following a call from the Alarm Pro Security Control Room reporting a motor vehicle accident at the airfield. Upon arrival, responders found a patient who had reportedly been ejected from a vehicle and had rolled after being thrown from the vehicle. An initial assessment revealed that the patient’s pulse was extremely weak. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) had already been notified and were on route to the scene. Upon arrival, EMS personnel conducted a medical assessment and unfortunately confirmed that the patient had succumbed to their injuries. NCA Responders remained on scene and secured the area while awaiting the arrival of the South African Police Service (SAPS). Once SAPS members arrived, the scene was formally handed over for further investigation. A witness was present and provided a statement to SAPS regarding the events leading up to the accident. The scene was subsequently handed over to the relevant SAPS authorities for further investigation.
NCA extends its sincere appreciation to the Emergency Medical Services personnel, Metro Police members, and all other role players for their swift response, effective coordination, and professional cooperation, which contributed to the successful management of this incident.
