NCA SUCCESS REPORT
FS RESPONSE TEAM
03 JUNE 2026

A responder received information from a confidential informant indicating that the suspect allegedly involved in the attempted robbery of a female victim earlier that week near a local primary school had been sighted again in Bothaville. According to the informant, the suspect was observed in a relative’s vehicle parked outside the Bothaville Meat Market. Upon receiving the information, the responder immediately reacted and activated the response team. Additional members were deployed to provide support while the informant maintained visual contact with the suspect as he moved through the taxi rank area. Responders strategically positioned themselves around the taxi rank to monitor possible exit routes and assist in locating the suspect. Within approximately three minutes of the responder’s arrival, additional team members joined the operation. Together with the informant, a coordinated search of the taxi rank and surrounding areas was conducted. After approximately thirty minutes of searching and observation, it was determined that the suspect was no longer in the area. It is believed that, upon realising he had been identified, the suspect boarded a taxi and left the area before responders were able to intercept him. Although the suspect was not apprehended, the rapid mobilisation of responders, effective coordination, and proactive follow-up demonstrated the team’s commitment to public safety and crime prevention.

NCA extends its sincere appreciation to all role players for their swift response, effective coordination, and professional cooperation, which contributed to the efficient handling of this operation.
