INCIDENT: House Burglary – Grootvlei West
At 11:00, we received a report of a house burglary in Vanwykshout Avenue, Grootvlei West. Upon arrival, the scene was assessed and SAPS was contacted. Although SAPS initially delayed, the Station Commander was contacted, and SAPS members arrived approximately 30 minutes later. A docket was opened.
Shortly thereafter, a second call was received with information regarding stolen goods found on another premises. NCA and SAPS jointly responded and successfully recovered the items.

INCIDENT: Pedestrian Hit – R101
At 03:02 on 19 April 2025, a call was received regarding a male allegedly struck by a vehicle on the R101. Upon arrival, the male was found intoxicated and asleep on the road. Tshwane Protection Authority (TPA) attended the scene and identified the individual as a Hammanskraal resident. He was safely transported home by TPA.
INCIDENT: Power Cable Theft – Juliet Avenue
At 03:46 on 19 April 2025, a call was received regarding the theft of power cables in Juliet Avenue. En route to the scene, NCA encountered SAPS members and requested their assistance. A case was opened, but as of the report’s completion, the case number had not yet been issued.
