A distressed voice note was received on the Witpoortjie Emergency group, requesting urgent assistance in Starren Street, Witpoortjie. NCA responders were immediately activated. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the suspect had been lured into the house by the victim, who then locked him inside while awaiting help. The suspect is known for his previous criminal activity.
Both SAPS and a security firm were on the scene, and the suspect was taken into custody. The case has been handed over to SAPS. NCA responders withdrew from the scene.
