GP RESPONSE TEAM

Responder received a call about a house fire near Windmill Park, Brakpan area. Many emergency services including response all immediately responded to the scene, the house was engulfed in flames. Firefighters immediately jumped into action and stopped the fire within a short time. During the fire, the neighbours suffered smoke inhalation, but refused treatment and assistance from emergency personnel. Unfortunately, two people were trapped in the house by the fire. Both were declared P4 by emergency service personnel.
Police were notified and are on their way to the scene for further investigation and assistance. Responder stand down.
