NCA Responders were contacted by the South African Police Service (SAPS) to assist with an incident involving a vehicle reportedly traveling from the Viljoenskroon area, suspected of transporting stolen lion cubs. Upon arrival on scene, it was confirmed that members of the Hawks had already stopped the suspects. Under the direction of the Hawks, NCA responders assisted in supporting operations on scene. Farm security units also responded promptly and deployed a drone to assist in locating any additional suspects. Despite these efforts, no further suspects were located. Responders subsequently cleared the scene.
