On 24 July 2025, the NCA GP Response received a report concerning suspicious movement on an unoccupied smallholding in Grootvlei East.
Upon arrival, the informant indicated that the property’s lights had suddenly gone out. Our investigation revealed that the submersible pump had been removed from the premises. Tracks were discovered nearby, but no suspects were located at the scene.
The individual associated with the property declined to open a formal case, as the property has been repossessed and is now owned by the bank.
