A joint law enforcement operation was conducted in the Kliprivier area involving multiple role players. The operation focused on crime prevention and road safety enforcement. During the operation, the following results were achieved: 13 suspects were detained for driving under the influence of alcohol,
1 suspect was detained for being under the influence of alcohol while in possession of a firearm, 1 suspect was detained for possession of a suspected drug substance and 1 vehicle was impounded after it was discovered that the registration number did not correspond with the licence disk. All detained suspects and the impounded vehicle were handed over to Kliprivier SAPS for further processing and investigation. Role players involved in the operation included: Kliprivier SAPS, National Crime Assist (NCA) and Crime Prevention Wardens.
