NCA responders from the Kroonstad unit provided assistance in a case involving suspected internet fraud. A concerned member of the public reported that a man was allegedly selling goods online but placing empty Pudo parcels in lockers instead of the purchased items.
Several related cases have already been opened. Acting on the information provided, responders traced the suspects to a location in Kroonstad. The individuals were positively identified, and one suspect was taken into custody.
The NCA team handed over all relevant information to SAPS for further investigation and left the scene.
