GP RESPONSE TEAM

Location: Danville Old Age Home
Summary:
NCA Reaction members responded to a call for medical assistance at the Danville Old Age Home.
Upon arrival, members found a 69-year-old male experiencing an epileptic seizure. One of the residents had already contacted Netcare 911, although the patient is not covered by a medical aid.
Netcare Unit RA15 arrived on scene and provided the necessary medical intervention. After treatment, the patient recovered and chose not to be transported to Pretoria West Hospital due to financial constraints.
Netcare 911 departed from the scene shortly thereafter, and NCA Reaction members withdrew.
