NCA members received an urgent request for medical assistance at an old age home in Danville, Pretoria West. Upon arrival, members found a 69-year-old male resident experiencing severe pain following a fall earlier that morning and displaying signs of respiratory distress. Residents reported that multiple calls had been made to Gauteng Emergency Medical Services, however, no ambulance had arrived by the time NCA members reached the scene. Following further coordination, Gauteng Ambulance Services (Reference Number: 100992, Unit A0367T) arrived on scene. The patient was assessed and classified as a Priority 2 (P2) patient before being transported to Pretoria West Hospital for further medical treatment. Once the patient had been safely transferred and all necessary services had concluded their duties, the scene was cleared.
