Reaction members received an urgent call for medical assistance in Pelser Avenue, Elandspoort.
Upon arrival, members found a 57-year-old male in severe pain. The patient had wounds on both knees, a bleeding laceration on the left palm, significant swelling to the right hand and thumb, and a large cut above the right eye.
According to the patient, a Uno vehicle with no number plates and three occupants attempted to rob him of his cellphone. He managed to throw the phone into a nearby premises to prevent the suspects from taking it.
Per Ref: 100356, Gauteng Ambulance Services were dispatched.
