GP RESPONSE TEAM
26 March 2026
NCA members received an urgent request for medical assistance at Westerlig Primary School in Danville, Pretoria West. Upon arrival on scene, members found a 13-year-old male learner who had sustained injuries after colliding with a motor vehicle while riding his bicycle. An ambulance had already been dispatched by a school staff member prior to the arrival of responders. Netcare RV76, Life Star 911 Ambulance Services, and Metro Police were present on scene. The patient was assessed and classified as a P2 (moderate priority) case. He was subsequently stabilised and transported to Moot Hospital for further medical treatment. The scene was secured, and once all necessary procedures were completed, all services cleared the scene.
NCA extends its sincere appreciation to all role players for their prompt response, effective coordination, and professional cooperation, which contributed to the successful resolution of this incident.
