NCA members received an urgent call for medical assistance in Danville, Pretoria West. Upon arrival on scene, members found a 70-year-old female patient experiencing severe difficulty breathing, reportedly due to reduced lung function. The patient presented with elevated blood pressure and pulse, and her hands were noted to be cyanotic (blue) and cold to the touch. As per IER, Gauteng Emergency Ambulance Services were dispatched (Reference Number: 101081). Gauteng Ambulance A1286 was on scene. The patient was assessed and classified as a P2 (moderate priority) case. She was stabilised and transported to Kalafong Hospital for further medical treatment. The scene was secured, and once all procedures were completed, all services cleared the scene.
