NCA MISSING PERSON TASK TEAM

NCA received the Mandate 24/01/2025 to locate missing person Jacques Visagie (38) . Jacques was last seen by his wife on the 21/01/2025 at 16:30 when he left their residence. There was no further contact, his phone was off. The worker who was with him answered at one point and later ignored all communication.
According to information, Jacques reached Bloemfontein on 23/01/2025 at 18:43 and after that the vehicle was not seen by anyone again. There were people on the ground searching the places he visited with friends. Acquaintances were contacted there were no positive leads.
Local groups and agencies, along with investigative teams, watched for the vehicle throughout the night. No movement was reported by investigation team this morning. Information came up and it was investigated and followed up – success.
Investigation team contacted Jacques by phone and spoke with him. He confirmed that he was safe, and that he was not yet ready to “open up”.
Feedback is being given to family and a request has been made to Jacques to get in touch with his wife. Investigation team closes the case.
