NCA SUCCESS REPORT

The South African Police Service (SAPS) contacted a responder regarding a missing male individual. It was reported that a resident allegedly released dogs at the individual after he walked past their residence, after which the individual could no longer be located. His cell phone was switched off, and attempts to contact him were unsuccessful. It was further established that the person responsible for the missing individual is a SAPS member who had travelled from Bethlehem to attend a wedding in the area. The responder was activated and proceeded to SAPS, after which joint patrols were conducted in an effort to locate the missing individual. The responder also engaged with the owner of the dogs to gather additional information. The missing individual later made contact and confirmed that he was safe and currently in Orkney. The individual was successfully accounted for, and no further action was required. The responder subsequently cleared the scene.
