Response members received a call for assistance in Danville regarding a possible armed robbery and hijacking.
At 10:27, upon arrival, members found a Mercedes E.P.X. Delivery Vehicle with the back, side, and passenger doors open. The driver and his partner were visibly traumatized but sustained no visible injuries.
According to Namola, SAPS was dispatched.

11:47 – PW12 arrived on scene.

13:40 – SAPS Forensic Services arrived.

15:34 – A SAPS SAP13 flatbed truck arrived, but members refused to move the vehicle due to a system failure in the Mercedes and the risk of causing damage.
At 17:20, NCA response members withdrew, while PW12 remained on-site to await private vehicle removal.
