An NCA Responder received information regarding a possible remote jamming incident reported at Spar in Bothaville. The information was immediately circulated through the NCA WhatsApp response groups to enhance situational awareness among responders operating within the area. In response, several responders conducted patrols and observation duties in and around the vicinity while actively monitoring for suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities that could be linked to the reported incident.
Despite these proactive efforts, no suspicious activity was identified, and no suspects were located. After an extensive period of observation and patrols, responders stood down from duty for the day. The Bothaville Response Team remains committed to supporting SAPS, local businesses, and the community through proactive patrols, rapid response capabilities, and effective operational coordination aimed at preventing and combating criminal activity.
NCA extends its sincere appreciation to the security personnel and all role players for their swift response, effective coordination, and professional cooperation, which contributed to the successful handling of this incident.
