Be careful of your “friends” and acquaintances on social media, in this case, Instagram. They may reel you in with promises of excellent returns on certain investments. Watch out for the first red flag when you receive a link to click, to be part of this “once in a lifetime opportunity.” Your “friend’s” account might have been hacked and the scammers are sending this message to all of his or her contacts.
